Sid Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Elaborate please. I sincerely hope you're not THAT troll I came across once on ICF:nervous: look who is talking about a troll :hehe:
Mariyam Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 I'll share some 'news' here that the Bangladeshi fans will like hearing. My colleague said that this WC final will be between Australia and Bangladesh, with Australia winning the WC. This is his 'logic' WC 99 - Australia beat Pakistan WC03 - Australia beat India WC07- Australia beat Sri Lanka. Now the only team remaining from the sub-continent who has to lose a final against Australia is Bangladesh. Mind you, this chap is quite a clairvoyant. Last week he told me that I will have a very busy work day the next day. And his prediction came true. He 'fell sick' and all his share of work for the next day came to me. :((

Mariyam Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Too old this logic has been in deluded bangla fans mind from a long time :hehe: Don't you dare call my colleague a deluded Bangla fan. He maybe deluded, but he is very much Indian.
Sid Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Don't you dare call my colleague a deluded Bangla fan. He maybe deluded' date=' but he is very much Indian.[/quote'] I am not talking about your colleague :cantstop:,I was talking about Bangladeshi fans who think this about their team : BD is so unpredictable, One day they'll play like champions , and the other day they would loose to Ireland.... It's confusing how can they allow it to happen?
Watson87 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 My 2 grand is safe and sound, thank u bangladesh, you guys played like real tigers, i want the same kind of performance against India, you guys are the true tigers. play like this, go for the kill, tamim proved he will be the highest scorer for every match with big "0" :hysterical::hysterical: I am proud of my padosi
jusarrived Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Bangla may beat one of the big sides , but I expect IRE to beat them too ....so making it to q/f may not be that easy for them
Zelig Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Did we get to see the Butterfly ball () yet :hmmm:

WC11 - Sri Lanka beat Australia :headscratch:
Zap_Brannigan Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 :headshake: logic will be like this WC 96 - SL beat Australia WC 99 - Australia beat Pakistan WC03 - Australia beat India WC07- Australia beat Sri Lanka. WC11 - Sri Lanka beat Australia :headscratch: Not enough logic in your logic since its not symmetric and all these logics fail to take into concern the 1st few WC. The most logical logic is this, If we assign numbers to each Indian performance in the WC i.e. 1st round as 1, super six or QF as 2, SF as 3, Finals as 4 and 5 for WC victory, we get, starting from 75 WC, 1 1 5 3 1 3 2 4 1 grouped in 3 WC each. Not surprisingly, each group adds up to 7. 1st group is bottom heavy (i.e. 5 is at bottom), 2nd is equal in top and bottom and the 3rd group is middle heavy. So the only remaining outcome is top heavy. So India will get 5 in the 1st WC of group 4, which will make India the winner of this WC.

First Pakistan (1999) then India (2003) and now Sri Lanka (2007). Australia going one by one against Asians. My prediction Australia VS Bangladesh (2011)
Manny_Pacquiao Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 meter start kardo yaar...the indian batting machine is gonna run up the score on bangladesh this saturday unless they bat 1st and we have to chase :((
KXIP001 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 nvr underestimate any team , cant predict what they have in thr pockets after all its world cup
Zero_Unit Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I am starting to see that 2015 WC will be much better(if ICC is not a douchbag and decides to let the associated play aswell). I don't think BD can quality more than the quarter finals (semis at max perhaps but you never know). Not to mention Zim is also starting to show signs of improvement and Ireland is comming along nice. Perhaps by 2015 Canada can show some signs of threat aswell (only if they drop those uncles from the domestic cricket. For those damn old farts we younger players don't get a chance to play -_-).

Even if we don't reach the Quarter finals, we have already won billions of hearts by our Riksha scheme, we may not win the world cup, atleast we have our colorful Rikshas.
Zero_Unit Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 ^ well by 2015, half of BD's players will be over 25+ i assume with a lot of experience under their belt. So i think by 2015 the likes of BD, Zim and IRE will be a treat to watch. Going head to head with the big boys equaly. I also assume that by that time BD should be one of the team to REALLY LOOK OUT FOR! ZIM and IRE might aswell show that sign. But if cricket dosen't return to Pakistan we might see a downfall in their talent list. Afgan might be where BD is today by 2015 ... who knows ... am a big supporter of the underdogs XD
Manny_Pacquiao Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 well now that the 1st game is over, and india wont be meeting them again we can have some objective discussion on bangladesh. my thoughts: 1. bangladesh's batting is pretty decent. tamim played a very controlled innings, as did shakib. both will get runs throughout the tournament. rahim is also a classy player, even tho he didnt light it up today. their batting is their strength, IMO. they were never gonna make 370 but they batted well today 2. FANTASTIC CROWD SUPPORT. they could have emptied out the stadium after india put 370 on them, but they were incredibly vocal and cheered every run. this is what crowd support should be like. hats off to the bangladeshi public, u are very passionate 3. brilliant fielding. their fielding is 2x better than india's. committed to save every single run. india had to run very hard between the wickets to pinch singles and doubles. their fielding will be a big advantage for them in future games 4. average bowling. if shafiul bowls like that against chris gayle, he will go for a lot more. indian openers were a bit restrained, or else they could have scored more. the left arm spinners arent too different from each other and batsmen could get used to them. guys like sarwan play spin really well. their bowling needs a lot of improvement bangladesh were my pick to reach semi finals but its hard to see them beating WI unless their bowling attack gets better. they are definitely better off batting first and defending a score, since dew factor isnt as big a problem on their home grounds
