don_corleone840 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I think we are overhyping world cup.We already are no 1 cricket side in world and winning worldcup wont change our status.Maintaining no1 position in test cricket is most important and difficult job in cricket thats y i think we should rest 10dulkar for wc and IPL if we want fit 10dulkar in england. He will be key in england tour which will be bigger than wc.We can win wc without him but will definitely be hammered by eng-sa(partnership firm) if he gets himself injured before tour.
rkt.india Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Test is ultimate cricket and Test>T20>ODI Though all three formats are equally important and need certain skills to succeed and all three must survive
satyam1729 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 .He will be key in england tour which will be bigger than wc.We can win wc without him but will definitely be hammered by eng-sa(partnership firm) if he gets himself injured before tour. :haha::haha::hysterical:
Bradman99 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 You are the number one test team in the world, not number one one day team in the world. Just because you are not ranked number one in one dayers, doesn't mean they aren't important. One day matches are a good form of the game and for me the WC is the most exciting cup in cricket. This is a losers attitude to claim the WC isn't important, Aus have won it the last 3 years in a row, you should be looking forward to it if you are the number one "cricket" team in the world and not saying it's not important or overhyped. I'm surprised actually that anyone could think that, I find it to be very exciting and a great test of mental strength as well as cricketing skill..
Bradman99 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Also, rest Tendulkar for the WC? You are crazy, absolutely crazy and completely undermine the importance of the WC. Ignorant really, just because India are better at tests.. that's the only reason, if it was the other way around you would be hyping it up, I'm sure of it..
Rajiv Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 If it''s not hyped enough, and we are no.1 then we should win it comfortably right. 20 years from now, no one will remember that India was no. 1 in Test in the year xxxxx, but everyone remembers the WC Winners
b555 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 once you win the world cup , no one can EVER take it back from you!!
Sid Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Maintaining no1 position in test cricket is most important and difficult thing in cricket thats y i think we should rest 10dulkar for wc and IPL if we want fit 10dulkar in england. :hysterical::haha::cantstop::wall::facepalm:

Agreed. We can win the world cup without sachin But not without dhoni, Neither the WC nor against eng-sa partnership firm...

Malcolm Merlyn Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 OP has gone crazy or may be you can lend me some of the stuff you ar smoking now.
