pensionplan Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 There is a reason why tendulkar didn't play so that all the bats can get a chance. That and also he had a book release to attend to as per my sources.
Jersey #10 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 :WTF: India is not known for winning too many consecutive games. They always lose some and then win some or vice-versa. If they win the warm up games then there is a very good chance that they will lose some WC games.

Deleted_User_1 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Very easily we won in the end. Australia were looking good to win with Puner batting around 40 odd and Australia score 114-2 and all of a sudden Dhoni's excellent captaincy and some great spin bowling did the thing for us. Anyone saw Sewhag sitting around the boundary line having chips???:haha: he looked so cool when Aus score was 114-2 as if he knew we are going to bowl them out for next 50-60 runs. Good fight. I think our batting didn't do any great today, but most of the bats got decent start. Good to see Sehwag withh 50. All in all, Team India looks good. Abe Arsenic ke bachhe, pee ke game dekha tha kya? Man you are deluded!!!
satyam1729 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Including the warm-ups? :crazy4: We will lose next game vs NZ.
yoda Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Some of you guys are over analyzing. We have always said bowling is a concern and our spinners bowled well and we beat the #1 ODI team in the world defending a small score. I say we in good shape. :cheer:
cowboysfan Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Sachin will cure a lot of our batting problems and allow the other batsmen to play according to their strengths,i am not too worried about the batting .

India were 138/8 so there is not much to appreciate. Had it not for the 50 odd runs Ashwin and Nehra put up, we would have lost worse than some of the minnow teams have been losing their warm-ups.
Zelig Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Gestern Australien, morgen die Welt :hitler: :isalute:
Ultimate_Game Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 chawla is better batsman and fielder than ashwin. But Ashwin is a better spinner in power-plays. We need at least one spinner to come in during power-plays and at the death. His carrom ball will get him many wickets when the batsmen try to take him on.
Zero_Unit Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 this is a good victory for you? Scoring 214 and barely keeping up with the AUS batting in the begining ... I thought that we were going to get thrashed by atleast 6 wicket or something. Our batting was very phetatic!!!

Roshanrocks Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 anybody think that the indian team wasnt running hard or giving their all in the fielding department because it was a warm up game? :hmmm: :dontknow:
Zelig Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 anybody think that the indian team wasnt running hard or giving their all in the fielding department because it was a warm up game? :hmmm: :dontknow: It wouldn't have mattered to Nehra :proud: He treats all the matches equally when it comes to fielding :isalute:
gaurav92 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 ^True :giggle: Yeah we look in good shape, and with Sachin's inclusion it will get better
