Superman Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Left arm Fast bowler Junaid Khan will replace Sohail Tanvir In Pakistan Squad. http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/player/259551.html
vaibhav_delhi Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 ahhh...we wont get to see the left arm bhangra style trundler!! I wonder whether its the hindu zehniyat thts kept him out.
Ahmed Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Finally he is replaced by the most promising young fast bowler from Pakistan. Wasim in 1992 Aamer in 2009 Junaid in 2011 InshaAllah!
Superman Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 I was guessing, if some one from the bowlers get injured then Mohammad Talha might get chance in the world cup as he can clock 145kph+ but it seems to be good choice to select Junaid Khan.:two_thumbs_up:
hari504504 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 heard good things about him.. supposed to make Aamer's absence unfelt.. lets see :hmmm: @Paks Any videos ?
desi pride 1234 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 indian cricket fans dont give a shyte abt who got selected there...:haha::hysterical:

jf1gp_1 Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 isnt it amazing how pak keeps producing these kids who bowl so quick; most dont turn into good bowlers but they are quick; i dont know how we always manage to turn our quick bowlers to spinners
Sir_Afridi Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 He looks far better than Tanvir Zehniyat but not in class of Aamir. Waqar needs to do some work with his action.
Sachinism Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Tanivr wants back in :haha: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/world-cup-2011/news/Dropped-Tanvir-says-he-is-fit-to-play-in-World-Cup/articleshow/7467099.cms
Hell Raiser Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Its really amazing that Pakistan have such good bowling strength. They keep on bringing these young bowlers.
vaibhav_delhi Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Tanivr wants back in :haha: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/world-cup-2011/news/Dropped-Tanvir-says-he-is-fit-to-play-in-World-Cup/articleshow/7467099.cms :hysterical::hysterical: Dropped Tanvir says he is fit to play in World Cup "I don't know why they dropped me and the selectors should tell me the reason because I was fit and getting better in bowling and fielding. "It is hugely disappointing to be dropped from a major event like the World Cup at the last moment," Tanvir told The Express. this time the pcb zehniyat kept him out.
asterix Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 ICC should take action on PCB for lying about Tanvir's fitness..At this rate they can keep on replacing players and CHEATING the system. Does CHEATING comes naturally to them?
yoda Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Oh please. A player can claim he is fit even when he is not, we have seen it with our own Munaf. Their medical board said he is unfit, that's good enough for me. We got Sree as a replacement even though PK was unfit even before the team was announced.
Tennekoon Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Shouldn't be changing the squad at this point in preparation
virufan Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Selection of Pakistan's Abdul Razzak surprises me Most inconstistent cricketer in the world today. He bats or rather blasts only once in a blue moon. Still Pak continues to select him in ODIs. I think they can do without him.
Gotham Cronie Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 He opens the bowling for Pakistan as well. Takes the pace off the bowl so it doesn't go flying for 4 or 6 like with Shoaib sometimes. Also, Pakistan doesn't have a proven all rounder that they could have taken into the WC behind him. The hope is that the U-19 star Hammad Azam replaces him.
