I want to see him go down. There was a time i used to love south african team back in 1998-1999. Now i totally hate them. I hope we win this one. Need to win this one badly.

India perform the best when they are charged up. Think 2007 T20 World Cup or the test match at Perth after the Sydney Test. When they have their backs to the wall with nothing to lose and they really want to win, that's when they really come to the party. Also, South Africa pretty much dished out bouncy and seaming tracks when we toured there because he feared our batting line up and he has the audacity to say India wont be preparing flat tracks again ? Just another mind game because he knows their batsman stand no chance against India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan on turning tracks and he wants Indian curators to do the opposite.

On a custom made pitch, which will ideally suit India's spinners, England would have made no more than 150. Indian batsman are always good against spin and it wouldnt have troubled them one bit. Flat wickets like yesterday's give other sides an equal chance to win.

It's not even a Joke anymore. How would he react if other captains start making jokes of what Gibbs said about him? He himself can't take jokes..

pinkfreud Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 We should look at Smith's comment as a motivation for Team India to do better rather than get affected in a negative way. Smith isn't entirely wrong- everyone knows that India's bowling is below par, but the thing is that we have a better batting line up than South Africa. The funny thing is that Smith is sneering when he himself opted to play 3 spinners in SA's last match. Hypocrisy much, Graeme? Graeme himself is not in great form, so that comment was pretty rich coming from him. He's lucky to have such a great team under him, because as a player, he isn't a huge deal.
