Drop Harbhajan after World cup .

This is the thread that clearly shows OP lack of cricketing knowledge. Yes bhajji darts a lot. But today he flighted. His pitch map was better than Ashwin. Its good idea to sometimes watch entire 10 overs and not to judge by one wide down the leg side.
Towards the end he darted his way through. He didn't try to buy wicket. Initial part length was alright. But he was too fast at times on a pitch speed reduction was essential. He flighted few balls. Then he went back to his darting.

Bhajji was too defensive today,he must have bowled outside the offstump, full length deliveries in this turning pitch with mid-on and mid-off to create pressure but shockingly he bowled negative line around the wicket ,very defensive tactic by "best" spinner

Do you know anything about how cricket is played or you being a grade A moron here If you played even a bit of cricket, its the wickets which will stem the flow of runs and not tight dart chucking, like you imagine

Yes lets drop our most economical bowler in the whole world cup' date=' cos we are blessed with bowlers who keep it tight. We can get Munaf, Nehra, Chawla and Sree in to team. [b']They will bowl oppo out inside 48 overs, only problem is they will have 400 on the board. Drop out tightest bowler in the wc:hysterical: Thankgod these fools dont have input in team selection

it is both...wickets are more imp at regular intervals but tight overs are very much needed.....

Fair enough. We'll pick him on our next tour of South Africa. Being the no.1 spinner of your nation does not mean you can get away with just the odd performance on a tour. It demands more consistency - else hand the cap over to someone else.

+1 plus against SA he took 3 wickets and he has been economical through out this worldcup whereas chawla and other seamers have gone for ridiculous economy rates.

Disagree. Second spell he was brought on to take wicket. He beat hussey atleast once that spun long way. Sorry don't agree. He did bowled poorly against England, but not today. Sorry.

bhaji bowled alright, if we had not wasted our reviews earlier he would have got ponting and we would have been chasing 10-15 runs less. He is our premier bowler opposition usually want to play him out without giving him wickets and that is what always happens; dont we usually play out Murali in ODIs ?

He was responsible for wicket of Watson. He bowled that brilliant first over' date=' set watson up and Ashwin took his wicket. I thought he bowled well, flight, pitched the ball up, did beat the bat. should have had ponting, if we had reveiw.[/quote'] Correct, Harby built the pressure in the previous over and Ashwin continued and Watson eventually went for the slog sweep resulting in the wicket. Sometimes these 'assists' don't show up in the bowling figures. Correct, Ponting would've been out if there was a referral left. The Munna one was wasted Although, the lack of wickets does not look great for the premier spin bowler.

today he was better than his usual rubbish self. that said, between him and Ashwin we all now clearly know who is the better ODI bowler although Ashwin will need to prove himself over a longer period.
