He is still a very good wicketkeeper, rarely misses catches and stumping opportunities But over the last 12 months, Dhoni's batting performances have fallen drastically. He seems unsure of himself at times and doesnt seem to take charge of the situation. He averages just 31 and has scored just two 50s over the course of 21 matches.

Don't know why. Dhoni is one of them. Maybe Captaincy pressure is taking a toll on his batting. He looks very nervous on the crease when batting.
