yoda
Our task is to take out the 3 time defending champs with a bowling lineup that looked international class in 1/6 league games. :yay: Link to comment
ShahidAfridi
Our task is to take out the 3 time defending champs with a bowling lineup that looked international class in 1/6 league games. :yay: India wont win. Aus might have a bad batting line up but they will find it easy vs 80mph Link to comment
ganeshran
On one side I see unabashed optimism from King Tendulkar, and on another side there is complete pessimism from dandaroy :(( Link to comment
future star
India wont win. Aus might have a bad batting line up but they will find it easy vs 80mph but India have good spinners ashwin and bhajji Link to comment
ShahidAfridi
but India have good spinners ashwin and bhajji Clarke and Hussey are one of the best players of spin in the world. Hussey is due a score and Clarke averages extremely high in WC's. Lee's bounce will rock Gautam and co Johnson will do the same Tait doesn't have the natural action for bounce so he will rely on swing and seam movement. Good Luck to Team India. Always like Asians beating the whites. Good Luck India :--D Link to comment

yoda
Hmmm...match starts 2 am local time and will probably finish around 10-11 am local time. I will probably wake up around 5 am, watch the game on DVR and catchup to live action (with ad forwards, etc) and then it depends on how things stand: 1. If we have a chance, will watch it live till 10/11 am and go late to work 2. If we are getting ***** raped, leave at the regular time (which is pretty close to 10 :hehe:) Link to comment

Manny_Pacquiao
Contests that will decide the result of IND-AUS QF 1. Lee vs Tendulkar. lee has gotten him out more times than any other bowler in ODIs. tendulkar's batting avg in matches involving brett lee is in the low 30s. but he got his own back the last time they faced each other in the CB series 2008, tendulkar hit 44 in india's win at melbourne, 117* not out in the 1st final at the SCG and 94 in 2nd decisive final at the gabba to lead india to an impressive tri-series win against the aussies in their own backyard. both of them are in amazing form and they are the best batsman and the best bowler from either side...whoever wins this will set his team up for victory. 2. sehwag vs tait. could go either way. tait is fast and furious, but doesnt have much skill with the new ball. sehwag is the most attacking batsman in the game. it wont last long but it is gonna be high octane stuff. anything loose from tait will get smashed to the boundary. but sehwag will give his share of chances. this battle is gonna decide who sets the pace in the first 15 overs. 3. harbhajan vs ponting. this is possibly the biggest one. both guys are huge players for their teams, but niether has been at his best in this tournament. india will definitely count on harbhajan to take out ponting like he has done many times in his career. australia will count on ponting to smack india's bowlers around like he has done many times in his career. whoever wins this battle might well win the match. both are clutch in big games. 4. mahendra singh dhoni vs the coin. the coin usually wins. lets hope it doesnt win this time and india bats 1st.
