I will be honest, I used to hate on the Indian cricket team and all its players simply because that was my mentality. I used to post quite a bit mostly in match threads but for some reason people always hated on me. It was all good no problem I guess, haters will be haters. I never used to fight with anyone or start flame wars with other users and I always used to ignore all hate messages directed towards me. Recently I was banned because I visited ICF and called Tendulkar a legend and tried to be nicer towards Indian forumites in general. But something hit me hard, I noticed how calm and collected people are on here and found myself at home right away. My whole view on Indian people in general changed, I started to believe we really can be united even in a small way. So I went back to PP and changed my avatar to an Indian and Pakistani flag combined and changed my Sig to 'One day, India and Pakistan will unite'. Some Indian folks on PP even sent me messages saying they are glad I am starting to view the world with a much more open heart and you guys know what? I felt really good to be human again. It felt good to rid myself of hate towards the Indian cricketers. people and forumites. So anyway, I posted on PP today and all of a sudden Mods and people started attacking me saying "We know what you posted on ICF" and I was like "what did I do" and they said your whole view on Tendulkar being a legend is disgusting. I right away got the message, I looked at my avatar and my signature and I could see the hate boiling out towards me was because I changed my whole view and stopped hating on India and started aiming for a united community. So I got banned for not being Anti-Indian basically and you know what? It hurts really bad that my own people are still living in the primitive age. Now I am not saying all PP'ers are Anti-Indian, heck most are very tolerable and neutral but when we have MODS who are banning people permanently for NOT HATING ON THE PAROSIS, it is not a good sign. Bascially that forum is run by Mafia-like mods who do not accept freedom of speech. I mean I was spyed on for posting on ICF? Honestly? It's pathetic if you ask me. And I am proud to say ICF is a great community which instantly made me feel at home from day one. Thanks you bhai-log, I promise never to hate on you guys ever again. My whole view in life has changed just by a forum, you guys have turned me from a hater to an acceptable human. :icflove:

We don't miss one opportunity to make fun of your cricket team. There are a few members who maintain high standards of decency, particularly the mods but the rest of us are just having fun here. Honestly, i don't care what other forums are like and am glad the admins enforced the idea of not discussing those. Lets see how long this thread lasts.

Heck, half my cricket team is Pakistani (4 pakis, 6 indians, 3 WI, and a white guy) You'll find that most people have the same needs and hopes once you put them in a neutral environment.

Only thing is you switch your opinions on the drop of a hat. You were a Misbah fan during the NZ tour, the minute Pakistan world cup team did well, you switched to being an Afridi loyalist. Anyways, regardless of what you say on PP or ICF, there will always be people who dont like what you post and respond with varying degrees of aggression. Its upto you how you take it. My advice: ignore the trolls looking for a reaction.
