On a bowler friendly wicket I reckon India starts as a favorite even more than a flat deck. I don't see anything extraordinary in the Pak bowlers even though they have done well so far in the tournament. They are not extremely superior to the Indian attack, but on the other hand Indian batting is way superior than Pak. On a flat pitch India's batting advantage decreases. But Sashtri could have said that with a little more grace.

Take Miandad who couldn't buy a run against the WI or Inzi/MoYo who went missing against Aus/SA. Look at the current 'legend' Younis Khan's ODI record.
