Why is it that if someone says something about an Indian player or person, he is immidiately called a Paki in disguise of an Indian. You need to stop this. I want India to lift the trophy. Take Miandad who couldn't buy a run against the WI or Inzi/MoYo who went missing against Aus/SA. Look at the current 'legend' Younis Khan's ODI record. His average against Australia is 15. :hysterical::hysterical: Every Pakistani batsman has sucked against good attacks overseas. YK averages 48 in Aus/SA/Eng/NZ in test cricket.Thats some home bully.He has never been a top class ODI batsman.

You need to watch more cricket. India has done far better in recent times in conditions that suit the bowlers. Why? Because our batsmen can handle the conditions but it really helps the mediocre bowling attack. On a flat track, the batsmen will score again but the bowlers look even worse. A flat track is a BAD idea for India. That is what Shastri has mentioned. His point is valid and was raised by many on this forum. The talk about the BMW and crap was rubbish and I don't support such talk. Not sure who started that. I'd be highly surprised if Shastri said that. Might have been someone else on the panel.

Anyway, talking about tests... NZ is a rubbish team. If you include NZ, why not the dire WI? Oh right, Khan has been pathetic in the WI. For me, it is the record vs Aus and SA for the current generation (Aus, SA and Eng away). Every Pakistan batsman has been useless in Aus/SA including your more famous batsmen. Inzi and MoYo were useless against the best attacks overseas. This is a fact no matter how much they are talked up by the Pakistanis. Y Khan is a far better player overseas than ANY Pakistani player in recent years. In fact, I've always found it strange when Pakistanis rated the others (like MoYo) to be far better than Y Kahn when it is not the case.

Pretty rich, mate. Would you like me to post some stuff from Pakistan? In Pakistan, even former players like Nawaz, Raja, Sohail and co talk rubbish on the major channels. This includes wrong information about other players, match fixing claims etc.

Prakat Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Without referring to the laws, I'd say that if a batsman running towards a crease tries to nullify a direct hit at the stumps by throwing the bat at the stumps and dislodging the bails before the ball hits in order to protect his wicket, the umpire would most certainly rule him out. The bastman would only be safe if the bat was in his hands if/when it hit the stumps, because then that would mean that he had made his ground safely and a run-out cannot be effected.

For some strange reason, I thought Sohail spoke sense. It would be a crime if you just don't react after someone speaks condescendingly of your nation, and I thought Sohail handled it maturely.
