I would have posted this on my FB if they werent praying. Koi offend ho gaya toh :fear:
The problem is the showbazi those cricketer did. Praying on the ground, in front of the media. What's the need of doing all this in public? People were doing, "Mashallah, what a photo. The team looks focussed..".

Yep pure despereate attention seeking, they could have easily done this in the dressing room or in a private hotel room.

Andy show some respect the guy is doing Sajda to Allah all mighty and you are showing Tendulkar as a Bhagwan your disrespecting the Religon Islam' date=' India also has muslim players in the team this is not good and then people like you talk about not bringing religon into cricket[/quote'] I thought originally he was thanking Allah that Akmal was able to hold on to a catch :hysterical:

People go a bit overboard.

Believe me, I am trying to empathize here, but I'm not able to find any parallels in my own personal experience. It is not as if someone went to a mosque and photoshopped a congregation. If your team can "pose" in public, this kinda stuff is to be expected. Please feel free to use any metaphor necessary to show me the light here. I have forgotten what it feels to be offended :(( I guess we all have different thresholds of humour.

I would take it in the spirit it was meant in and what some stranger on the interweb thinks wouldn't bother me, whereas people like you revel in being offended.

can't be dhaka man. Has to be USA' date=' UK or canada, where fans of both the sides be there.[/quote'] It's got to be London. I know there is a hall where Indians and Pakistanis watch matches together.

When it comes to Religon I don't find anything funny ....
Fair enough, but dont preach to others your tolerance to certain things, every person will not be the same and what is funny to one will not be funny to another. To you the importance of religion on a scale of 1-10 might be 10, to someone else 1. Neither of you are right or wrong.

Have faith in your God. As long as you are pure in your feelings and conduct, what others are doing/saying should be immaterial to you. You can not go about policing and reacting to every other being on this planet or even every being you come across in your life. This should give you some peace of mind.
The Qur'an makes it clear that, whenever possible, it is better to forgive another than to attack another. The Qur'an describes the believers (Muslims) as those who, avoid gross sins and vice, and when angered they forgive. (Qur'an 42:37) and says that Although the just requital for an injustice is an equivalent retribution, those who pardon and maintain righteousness are rewarded by GOD. He does not love the unjust. (Qur'an 42:40).
