Mariyam Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I come to these conclusions after lurking as a guest in many forums including this one and the general behavior of Indian fans in stadiums and their over reactions to victory and losses. I agree with you observations on the behaviour of people on forums. People tend to get extra happy or depressed and express themselves in ways in which they wouldn't in real life. I have a diametrically opposite view to your experiences in stadiums. What I have seen is that Indian fans are by and large very helpful and accommodating to foreign fans. The way they treat other Indian fans is a different things altogether. You have to remember that those on a forum and those in stadiums constitute only a tip of the iceberg. Most fans simply watch the game on TV and do not indulge in of the 'banter' that you find on the forums. Wasn't Randive the guy who intentionally bowled a no-ball so that Sehwag doesn't get his century? How would you like it if I were to extrapolate that and blame all Sri Lankan cricketers of unsporting behaviour? There are a few bad eggs everywhere. Don't take them to be the mainstay.
Bradman99 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Put it this way.. If you have countries wanting your side to lose, you are doing something right..
vvvslaxman Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 If Srilankans are worried about crowd behavior.. we got hit by stone 3 times in the recent visit to Srilanka. Nobody from Indian team made a big deal about it.
vvvslaxman Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Put it this way.. If you have countries wanting your side to lose, you are doing something right.. Couldn't have said better.
CoverDrive Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I am tired of all these people who think that Sri lanka are some of the nicest cricketers in world and they are such a happy and fun loving people.
Homerus_Unus Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Put it this way.. If you have countries wanting your side to lose, you are doing something right.. Touche'!

Mariyam Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 afgans' date='pak baluchis, banglas etc support india[/quote'] You can add Tibetans to that list.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Jealousy is the tribute paid by mediocrity to the genius :hatsoff:
Sachin=GOD Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Put it this way.. If you have countries wanting your side to lose, you are doing something right.. well said.

Its the destiny of this Indian team and Goddy to win the WC tomorrow. It has to happen, nobody can jinx it.
yoda Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Put it this way.. If you have countries wanting your side to lose, you are doing something right.. Sums it up well.
akshayxyz Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 As I said in another thread - you cannot jinx destiny. Its the destiny of this Indian team and Goddy to win the WC tomorrow. It has to happen' date=' nobody can jinx it.[/quote'] Destiny is always 'calculated' in hindsight. For every possibility in the future - there is a destiny/correlation theory.
Tigerbait Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Take it as a compliment. Nobody wants a strong team to win. See Australia during the era of dominance.
Little_Master Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Put it this way.. If you have countries wanting your side to lose, you are doing something right..
