Cricketics Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Am I right in saying that?? See we have had rivalryies in cricket against most of the nations and all have got beaten pretty badly against us. Sri Lanka is one of those little countries which has never really had someone like Harbhajan who has frustrated players from countries like Australia. Plus having browsed so many websites, I have noticed lot of people want to silence the Indian crowd in finals and see the "pin drop silence" reaction from fans. I don't blame them. We might have supported Lanka too perhaps had we not been in finals and someone else would have been say Pakistan. I believe people from West Indies and New Zealand would be perhaps supporting India or would be neutral. People from Windies in particular are the coolest. They don't even would give a damn who wins :haha: Aussies, England perhaps would be for Lanka Padosis, we shouldn't care as we know what they would be doing. What you guys reckon???

English football team sometimes can't even qualify for a Euro cup:two_thumbs_up:

From revolitonizing the game starting with Sanath, to the legend Murali, Malinga and Medins an year ago, all had raw talen that made people want them to win. I remember reading an article before 07, finals in cricnfo about why we love to support Srilanka from some indian or pakistani reporter. whereas,India is seen as the big dog, and Indian celebrations just piss people off. Being humble is not one of the virtues you indians fans or your cricketers have. (Except Sachin maybe)
