There is no proof that Sanga called wrongly in the first time and of course sanga might have called wrongly in the second time too when referee decided to do it again. I know this would have been the biggest issue for Indian media, had we lost. At least lets be gracious in the victory when we have shown to the world that toss is not an important factor in big games. I dont understand how all of you are assuming that SAnga called wrongly when coin was tossed first time.

They have to wait another 15-20 years before the WC comes back to the sub continent if they are going to have a crack at winning the tournament again.:haha: not much these days..as we came to the finals of the T20 worldcup as well as the 2007 worldcup finals playing overseas....and the recent success in Aus we are a much better team these days than earlier wen playing overseas...

It was confusion, Dhoni thought he won and said "we will bat first". After the confusion, even match referee was not sure what Sanga called.. And collectively with Match refree's permission then re-did the toss. :hatsoff: to the captains, refree to keep the cool and do the right thing in such a tense and high stake moment.
