what about venkatesh? he took the burden of maulings when we played some attritional cricket on flat pitches during the late 90s. he was sensational during 1996 and 1999 world cups. and sir aggy?

The victory is for the Dhoni and present team but this victory is also for people like Dada who changed our weaknesses to our winning attitude, Kumble and all past legends who contributed in making our team from almost a devastated team to a somewhat winning and then a regular winner. The cup goes to all of them alongwith the present team.

Its hard but look @ it this way. Something that Jumbo + Dravid + Dada (I'm knowingly not including VVS) couldn't achieve in their lifetime, boys like Raina + Kohli (+Ashwin?) could at their very first attempt. Goes to show the nerves the young generation has got.
