ICC should take action against Sanga: Boycott

How typically him. This is the same guy who asked his bowler to bowl a no-ball to deny a player a well-deserved 100 (Sehwag). And this guy has been warned in the past to play within the spirit of the game.

Remember how the cheater Azharuddin used cheat on tosses to fix matches... From those horrible days to now.... Hail Team India... Jai Hind.. :aha:

Honestly. I can't make out what he said the first time around with that audio. All I could hear is this "**a*s". It all come down to what you want it to be. If you think you want it to be Tails you will hear a tails. As simple as that. I believe the fault was with Crowe! He didn't even hear what Snaga said, then why the heck is he looking at the coin and saying heads? Hoping who ever won the toss will come forward? The what the heck is he for? If there is concrete evidence that sanga did say Tails the first time around go for him. but based on what I have seen, Its too early to crucify him.

Normally Shastri too lets everyone know what was called while the coin is in the air: "And heads/tails is the call" - but he didn't do that this time probably because he couldn't hear over the din. But this is what clinches it against Sanga, it was he who called and he should know what he called. If he had won the toss I'm sure he'd have said that he'd won it - there was no incentive for him to agree to a retoss. The only reason the second toss happened was because Sanga willed it. Dhoni would have gone along eitherways IMO.

That is a good point. Yet it is circumstantial. Some one could come back and argue if Dhoni had heard sanga saying Tails. Then why did he accept for the re-toss? Even Dhoni might not have been sure as to what he heard or He was gentle man enough to agree with the Crowe's request for re-toss. But the point is things look circumstantial. Anyone can read anything into the situation. It all boils down to which side of the fence you belong to. For me the jury is still out on this issue, until there is better audio available

There should be two questions for Sangakara. 1st one - What was his call for first toss (others might not have heard his call because of noise, but still he would have made one) 2nd One - if his answer for 1st question is that he did not make any call, then he should be asked that why didn't he make any call? What were the reasons ? ( It wasn't first time he came for a toss) Logically speaking there can not be a consistent answer of this set of two questions. Of course he is bluffing here. Only possible situation here is, he took advantage of the noise level and created a case for re-toss.

sanga always walks if he nicked the ball...care to point out one instance he stayed after he nicked..? he would not call tails & then claim that called heads.... i hope dhoni clears the dobuts on what exactly happened... anyways the better team won...we are dissapointed but not heart broken or shattered or anything...simply its not a shame to loose to the better team on the day....u deserved it so accept & celebrate the victory gracefully.... for a small nation where the population might be equal to the population of 2 of your big cities..we've done well to reach 3 world cup finals & a T20 world cup final..3 of r batsmen were top run scores of the tourney... another 100 in a world cup final by a graceful batsmen...almost everybody gave it their best but were bettered by a better team...so no regrets... As sri Lankans we are proud of our team, many of the performed & you can see it in the people here who came to the road to cheer the team bus when they came back to SL.. Enjoy your celebrations guys as we are enjoying ours over here..we are content

Nobody is saying anything bad about the Lankan team - they performed extremely well throughout the tournament and competed hard in the Final but lost to the better team. They deserve praise for such a good performance. The problem is Sangakara's antics at the toss - it was blatant cheating and he should be punished for it.
