Before Sangakkara, the ICC should sack Jeff Crowe with immediate effect. He was the match referee who presided over the 2007 final as well which was played out under the stars.

I second that...Jeff Crowe is freakin idiot of first order. His job as match referee is to oversee such things, no excuses ...even after WC2007 fiasco, he was again officiating. I mean why not call a kid from Kindergarten to officiate next time. Sanga for sure should be reprimanded for his actions...this was no street (Galli) match happening were players use guile and deception to win the match.

His role was to cover the toss, not to ask leading questions or influence the events. It was completely unprofessional from everyone involved, except Dhoni.

By the way Pringle also believes, similar to Boycott, that Sanga lost the toss and pulled a fast one on Dhoni and Crowe should have been smart enough to see it... This is what Pringle had to say... Derek Pringle's analysis is very much similar to what I said in one of my earlier posts. http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=1421317&postcount=69 After doing logical analysis, it's difficult to give a clean chit to Sangakara.

It's also very hard to indict him on the basis of patchy evidence. It's not what you know, it's what you can prove.

That's irrelevant and am not arguing for that. But fans should know the truth. There is no scope of any kind of mis-interpretation or mis-conception in this matter. Either Sanga won the first toss or he lost it. One of that has to be true. Based on evidences, I think he had lost it and i'll think of Sanga accordingly as a fan. If you believe, that he had won first toss, then you can think accordigly.
