I felt sorry for Freeshant after the game. It's pretty clear he's not that popular in the team and he was kind of being avoided by the others. But then again, that's what you get for being a loud-mouth wannabe.

I think he will get far more respect if he backs that attitude with good performances. Without ability, aggression just looks hollow. He should learn from Nehra and flash a smile whenever he is hit around. Nehra is a raddu bowler but he is liked by everyone in the team (not the fans).

No I don't blame them, it's a side that really believes in the team aspect so when one player constantly goes over the top, craves individual attention like a spoiled brat, and hardly ever backs up his words with any real performances then of course you expect that individual to be an outsider. It's just disapointing to see all that talent go to waste.

I don't think they are completely shunning him. He is still one of our ace bowler in Tests. Sooner they realize the better. Otherwise he will end up being useless in both formats much like Ishant.

I agree, I don't think they are shunning him either, but there is definitely, you know a sense that he's "not one of us." Pretty much everyone else after the WC were in groups, talking, celebrating, hugging and laughing but Sreesanth seemed to have no one to really celebrate with.

Can't believe people are still "abusing" Indian players. FFS they did play a part in the team. Don't be jealous. Chawla fielded for Gambhir in that semi final clash vs Pakistan and came on as a sub even in the final and was electric in the outfield in both the matches. Sreesanth did not have a good world cup, but that happens. Wonder why would you abuse a player.
