ravishingravi Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 1) In 90s they were still living of Imran's legacy and the player's he had brought in and groomed. They haven't developed a good enough structure. 2) PCB is the most incompetent body in the world 3) They haven't developed quality batting talent. It cannot be groomed on the streets 4)India's overall growth story with BCCI's enterprise have to this financial prowess. 5)India have had better role models and senior players. I think one of the most important reason may be.. India were blessed with magnificent cricketers with very upright morals such as Kumble, Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly and Tendulkar as a role model. Pakistan had likes of Afridi, Salman butt and M. Aasif as role models.
Mamu Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Putting it bluntly and shortly -- Cricket in Pakistan follows the Country! Country has gone to the dogs -- so has cricket there. Think about it, no cricket in a country means no revenue and who is responsible for this mess ? -- This WC might have fetched them some money now -- and they will survive for a little while -- but will come out with the begging bowls soon
