vvvslaxman Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 If he continues his form.. i say it won't be a risk :cantstop:
Cricket Tragic Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Everyone knew this was coming. I don't mind him missing the WI tour but he needs to be in England for the summer.
saneindian Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 India Tv showed the interview of his Delhi based doctor today and according to him, the shoulder surgery that Viru needs will keep him out of cricket for at least 4-5 months. Also suggested that Viru is playing IPL under pressure from the franchise and that delaying the operation is only going to make the rehab process that much longer. I hope someone in BCCI finally gets some sense and orders DD to release Viru so that he can get the surgery done at the earliest. Even Viru's body language in the 1st two IPL matches suggests that he definitely is concerned about the injury.
Switchblade Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Actually on Neo Cricket Channel that journalist Debojit Datta i think even before the start of the CWC had said that all players are going to play in IPL then Viru would miss these tours on that 1 hour show with Manish Valicha
Switchblade Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 5th Feb was the date when he said that on the show Bat and Bowl
Switchblade Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 BCCI OR RAJIV SHUKLA had said that players are in the hands of franchisees not us
Cricket Tragic Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 BCCI OR RAJIV SHUKLA had said that players are in the hands of franchisees not us
yoda Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Sehwag knows what's best for him and the team. I trust his judgement better than cricketnext.
Rana Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Fore England, This is gonna be the most anticipated tour in years since the Ashes in 09. I hope all the top dogs are available for this one!
Stuge Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 BCCI OR RAJIV SHUKLA had said that players are in the hands of franchisees not us WTF :facepalm::facepalm:
Clarke Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Its not even a risk, its worse than that. If we do have him in the XI, he will be in bad shape. He deserves a break should not be playing until he's fully fit. This is just the surface .. who knows how good the other players are, especially Captain Magnificent Dhoni.
Switchblade Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Is this injury due to IPL2 from there he had shoulder problem
Asoka Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 We wont miss him that much. WI can be taken care of easily. Against England even if he plays Anderson/Broad/Tremlett/Bresnan will eat him alive.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: Tamasha kirkut :yousuck:
singhprakash72 Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 IPL or Tamasha or Matka cricket is disgrace for anyone who believes that cricket is actually a sport. T20 has relegated cricket to cheap sport like poker or teen paati. How many IPL matches does anyone remembers or even recalls ? I like the concept of foreign players in the team but we have just blindly copied the format from other sport leagues which cater to sports that are played over 2-3 hrs duration. You can not call a team winner on basis of playing slam bang cricket for few overs. Yes if you want glamor, biz and show this is it...but don't call it CRICKET

We're talking about the Marauder of Najafgarh, not Toffee Koomar. When Sehwag is in flow, the ball stops swinging. Edit : 4000 posts :woot:
