:two_thumbs_up: Dude, I am a HUGE Megadeth fan. Huge Metal/Hard Rock fan in general, love listening to: 1. Metallica 2. Megadeth 3. Motorhead 4. Slayer 5. Anthrax 6. Black Sabbath 7. AC/DC 8. Led Zepplin 9. Queen 10. Aerosmith etc Dave Mustaine absolutely kicks ass. Love him as a guitarist.
Good! Big love for 2 thru 10 on your list. For some reason never really was thrilled by Metallica. Never did it for me, to me it's slightly antiseptic (don't know if that communicates.) - although a few songs are memorable. I'd add sepultura and soulfly and of course maiden and deep purple to my list! Mustaine's shredding! :hail: Wouldn't travel far for his vocals though.

@pravinkataria...I agree to a some extent.but better late than never . Lamb Of God came relatively early last year. So the trend is changing.Catch is that, even if they penetrate .5%to 1% of 1.2 billion people, they will get a fan base larger than many European country's entire population :)
Absolutely mate - we're a very lucrative volumes market. But that was always the case - even more so i'd say ten years ago than now - so much has changed musical taste wise don't you think? Forgot to add one more to that lifecycle - leave your old-age home to play in the opening ceremony for a sporting event. :winky:

This guy "fabcor95" uploaded some absolute gems to youtube in FULL HD There are only a few artists in the world who sound better live than they do in studio. If you use electronic synthesizers/digital manipulatory ****, you'll get caught out very quickly. [ame=

FBM, if heavy metal is your thing, than Black Sabbath is for you. If thrash metal is your thing, than Metallica is the way to go. These are the kinds of crowds Metallica attract WHEREVER they go. Grab your tickets quick, they will get sold out in no time. I had to book my tickets in freaking June for a concert that was in November
The main reason I dont like metallica is because of the pretend hardness. I mean the first band that I got into was Napalm Death when I was 14 and in high school and pretty much grew up on a diet of extreme metal since then. Like I said, metallica is amazingly stereotypical, watered down, cheesy 'metal' music with zero originality whatsoever, packaged and produced for the masses. And about the cheesiness, S & M!! Can it get any worse than that?!! :puke: I can understand if it was the first band that introduced someone to metal like Limp Bizkit and they still like it for sentimental reasons though...

Rock music is a sudden turn down for me...totally hate it! Give me rap or RnB anyday of the week If I were you, I would avoid this event... been to plenty of F1 races and they are all boring + Metallica which will turn you deaf for a few days = AVOID
