Sachin=GOD Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Waiting for srtfanataicssuck to come and spit some venom in this thread any moment now
sreej Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I thought I had read somewhere that teams cannot replace a player if the team has already played 7 or 8 games. This was in relation to Boucher joining KKR. Can anyone confirm this?
ViruRulez Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 :ohyeah: BTW great marketing ploy by Sahara and Subroto Roy .. he will get both Punjabi as well as Bengali supporters both of whom are quite passionate and regionalistic to some extent alongwith the Pune and Marathi base .. he has wittingly half of India supporters except Southies with his IPL purchases. :P
FairCricket Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 so who will be the captain ? , i think pune admins want to get rid off uvaraj's captaincy :giggle:
ViruRulez Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 so who will be the captain ? ' date=' i think pune admins want to get rid off uvaraj's captaincy :giggle:[/quote'] Only to be surprised by Duh-Duh for the second half .. they are anyways very near the KKR of this IPL :D
urbestfriend Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 S R Gay was asking Dada to remove his shirt in KKR wins the IPL, now that Dada joined IPL, he'd do the same if KKR loses in final.
Sidhoni Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Dada back in IPL HE will be in Pune, but the REAL SHOCKER -- YUVI WILL BE THE CAPTAIN :hysterical: :hysterical: :cantstop: :phehehe: :phehehe: http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2011/content/current/story/513563.html
asterix Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Thank goodness the Pune Team owner stepped in..UV and Geoff Marsh had left no stones unturned to screw up a good outfit..
urbestfriend Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Make Buchnan coach of Pune. Then we can have multiple captains between UV, Dada and smith.
BengalTigeress Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I can't believe this! He should either be with KKR or in the commentary box.. sad times!
ganeshran Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Rameshsrivats twitter updated Oh. Pune Warriors have bought Sourav Ganguly? Good decision. He may cost $400,000. But he provides plenty of Bongs for the buck.
vishalvirsingh Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Rameshsrivats twitter updated He is a old Man now and just bcos he is a crazy cricketer it doesnt mean his body will support him... he wont suceed much and as a result he will look like a fool .... i dont know why has he come back he could have made some money at the commentator's table itself and atleast keep his prestige...now he will get bowled by morne and others and he will look like a fool... he has already messed up handling his career earlier , he shud not go for this.. i bet u guys he will not be happy with this as he wont suceed much and finally he may not be picked in the eleven

rajmarie Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I thought I had read somewhere that teams cannot replace a player if the team has already played 7 or 8 games. This was in relation to Boucher joining KKR. Can anyone confirm this? Yes...thats what I keep reading when KKR wanted to replace Haddin...that they have to by before their 8th game..because after that...they cant make replacements. But remember this is IPL...the rules are created for teams like KKR, KXIP ie teams owned by anybody except Indian big industralist. For teams like MI, CSK & now PW...the same rules can be bended & exceptions can be made. IPL forced KKR to get a quick & hasty replacement like Boucher....before their 8th game...but allowed PW to get Ganguly easily after their 8th game. It clear...PW has struggled through out...not mainly becacus they have not played that good...but because their captain is lost....Ganguly has led India & has plenty of expericence their...& they are getting what has been their weakest link till now. Will it transform PW...only time will tell.
rajmarie Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Last year this "old man" scored nearly 500 runs and was the 4th highest scorer. Remember....He has got OLDER. He is not even match fit. But I expect him to have 1 decent T20 level game...so that he can then tell to everyone that he still have it in him.

Some of my friends vowed they wont watch IPL since Dada's not there:P

If you are motivated, you are good.
