Should be an exciting series. Don't dislike me' date=' but I honestly believe England will take the series. 2 - 1 to England.[/quote'] No reason to dislike you but if India does not start slow it would be 2-1 India. England is very average.

Should be a exciting series no doubt. I don't think Indian selector would be experimenting much with the playing 11. Pujara should definitely be persisted with. I know Kohli deserves a chance definitely, but then hard luck is hard luck. In bowling I think we'll start with same trioka of seamers - Zaheer, Sree and Ishant. I don't know how many of you agree with me, but Ishant's performance in this IPL gives me a lot of hope (even if it has come in tamasha cricket). I had seen his bowling in earlier IPL's as well but this year, he has been different. Sree should take advantage of swinging conditions and of course Zaheer should relish bowling in country where he re-juvenated his career.

Will be one hell of a series. Pujara and Kohli will have to fight it out  Whats the news on Pujara's injury??? And now that Sehwag has gone and got himself injured, there might be the opener's job up for grabs. So many options. They could ask Dravid to open and play both Kohli and Pujara. Or get Murali Vijay. MAybe even give Mukund a shot. Can't wait for it.:yay:

Maybe you should follow more indian domestic cricket that is not IPL
Yeah, that slogger Valtathy was getting touted for an India spot but a prolific FC scorer like Rahane is over hyped :cantstop:

What is this obsession with Rahane? What has he done to deserve a place in playing 11.
:cantstop: PS - Averages almost 68 in first class cricket. Over the course of 5000 runs.

Rahane is a phenomenal talent - right up there with Kohli as the long term future of the Indian middle order.
Ranji first class averages need to be taken with a grain of salt. Comparing him with Kohli is a mistake. How did he do in Duleep? How is he doing in IPL? That will be fairer comparison. I think there are half a dozen others who are ahead of him in the pecking order.

Who is talking about averages - I have watched him bat.
