India's biggest problem will be that they won't be as fresh. It is a long Test series.
India's biggest problem would be the first inning of first test as it happens in almost every away test series either they are batting or bowling after that every thing will be normal.

will be a thrilling series.hope all players r fit.PK should be the 3rd seamer along with Zak n Sree.6th bat should be Pujara or if he fails in WI then Kohli. if Viru doesnt make it,hope they open with Rahane or some other guy, rather than Vijay

It has been dry and sunny so far. Only a couple of days when it has rained.
From what i read from day 2 bulletin, it mentioned day 2 as "cloudy day", and hence a significant factor in SL's batting failure....so i hope it continues to be dry and sunny till September...becoz that Anderson becomes a beast on when bowls starts swinging.

Looking at the game so far this is turning out exactly the way I had predicted.Losing Zaheer wad a huge blow and Dravid is proving to be the key man.

Looking at both teams closely it will be a high scoring series with the likes of KP, Strauss,Tendulkar and Laxman on show.India have the edge in batting with match winners at 1-7 but their bowling will have to find a way to get 20 wickets.Likes of Cook and Trott wont be easy to dislodge in home conditions. I expect Zaheer khan to do well in swinging conditions but other seamers will have to come to the party like RP did in 07.Eng batsmen will play Harbhjan well most of times as they have a quality spinner in their own ranks. Indian batting is full of match winners but the key man for me will be Rahul Dravid who is due a big series. If it swings Anderson will trouble Sehwag and co upfront making Rahul,s role a key one.Tremlett will get extra bounce but pitches in Eng are on the slow side apart of OT and The Oval. Swann will be dealt with comfortably by the likes of Tendulkar, Dravid and Laxman and thats will cause problems for strauss as he has been the go to man for him over last couple of years. All in all it will be a close series that will be decided by one game.
