But I was quite surprised to see that the task this week was the male contestants to get completely nude infront of a large audience in a rock concert and to get painted. So, this is the first time that full nudity has entered Indian reality shows and I wont be surprised if Bigg Boss and other shows start following the same pattern and involve full nudity like in the west on TV. I am fine with legalizing porn and prostitution in India too but it should be regulated. But showing nudity on TV in any form whatever is not acceptable especially in our country where we do not have any rating for TV channels and all channels are viewed by families. In case they want to enter nudity I am fine with that too but channels need to be rated accordingly like you rate an adult film from a non-adult one. And rating Indian channels is not at all difficult as India has already started implementing DTH and set top boxes and a majority of Indian viewers are already using it. So, they can just make the packages as such so that families can skip those channels deemed unfit. Nudity has there been in movies and that is a different thing as that is not shown on TV but people can selectively watch it. As I mentioned in several earlier threads too I also support legalizing porn and prostitution but at least families would not have to watch it. Rate it accordingly like those movies are done. BTW Kamasutra, Monsoon and several other Indian movies have had girls nudity too and it is not a new thing but it is not telecast on television.
