Once they made 131 runs in 17 overs due to rain. That makes 11 out of 12 times. I very much doubt if Dhoni clicked in each of those matches.

Vijay 312 runs at SR of 119.08 Raina 334 runs at an SR of 133.06 Badrinath 349 runs at an SR of 133.71 Hussey 393 runs at an SR of 122.42 Dhoni comes 5th at 262 runs at an SR of 155.02 Each one is doing their role well.

Looks even to me. The finals and 2nd qualifier are going to be in Chennai. So MI has to win CSK in Chennai if both teams go all the way. If anything, MI should have CSK-phobia due to CSK's home record and last finals result.

Selecting only 3 bowlers with a weak 3rd bowler. Its pretty evident that Jakati will probably get hit a few. That means Raina has to cover for him. What happens when the 2 all rounders, who now bowl 4 overs, has an off day too? Get Southee in instead of bravo and try the bench instead of jakati before the semifinals.

Don't lose wickets in heaps upfront and go after bowling at the death. Most of the time it worked. From today's interview it appears he believes over number 12 is the cut off point where they have to start teeing off.
