Perhaps he forgot that worst loser in the election results today is not DMK but Left which has been virtually swept out of Indian politics. That must have been the biggest FAIL statement and confirming their guilt. :D And he also said Communism will remain in India and Communism is not limited just to politics. Does he mean like Maoists etc. :dontknow:

Is "Zha" pronounced as "La"? zha has a unique pronunciation in the Tamil language. I dont think it has an equivalent in other languages. It is a stronger version of 'La' but its hard to write it. In English "Alagiri" and "Kanimoli" are the poor equivalents but its a much stronger "La" (zha)

Is Kalmadi also South Indian. In a way that would also be ridiculing Karnataka CM as he is also South Indian and has massive corruption charges. :dontknow: Not sure where the two main national parties are going and it looks like we have a *****y way ahead in Indian politics. Hope that a quality national political and a new one which is only concerned about the nation and its development rather than vote bank politics emerge soon or the future of Indian politics is going from bad to worse. :((

All current politics are pathetic and corrupt to the core and Mamata and Jaya can only worsen things. :giggle: It is high time that a new quality and development oriented and non-votebank based political party emerges in India. But the only thing I can do hope but the chances are quite low to be frank. :((

I don't see them becoming an alternative Congress anytime in future and would depend heavily on number of allies to form any alternate govt. at the center. Doesn't looks good for BJP. Might as well lose their allies in Punjab and might be reduced a negligible party in UP. Might even lose in MP and Chattisgarh, next. All in all, tough days ahead for BJP.

Might as well lose their allies in Punjab and might be reduced a negligible party in UP. Might even lose in MP and Chattisgarh, next. All in all, tough days ahead for BJP. They hardly had any base in any of these states and did not have much to lose. What they were hoping for was to wi a few seats in TN and kerala. The real loss for them is Assam where they made significant progress in the last election, won 3-4 lok sabha seats but look to have squndered the advantage this time. Regarding other states, in UP they have seen their lowest and will only go up from there and from number 4/losing their deposits, BJP candidates have started to become main contenders again in UP. MP/Chattisgarh, well they do not have much of an opposition, the govts their are doing better and should be voted back to power barring some catastrophe. Along with the akalis, they have ruined Punjab and the govt. there is one of the most corrupt state govt. ever. BJP had to ask all its 5 ministers to resign due to serious corruption charges. So in a sense, yes they will continue to be where they are, an opposition party at the center but be in power in a number of states.

All in all, tough days ahead for BJP. they never had much base in TN, WB, Kerela etc so not winning many seats isn't that big a setback. In UP they're slowly winning back the confidence of the public and although they will certainly not be in a position to form the Govt on their own, they may ultimately be in a coalition in UP. In MP and Chattisgarh there is absolutely no chance of BJP losing.

That is why I said the chances of such a party emerging in the future are looking very bleak. I had always hoped that a truely nationalistic non-votebank based and whose only concern is the nation's development would emerge one day but I see Indian politics turning more and more dirty with time and so chances are looking very bleak. :(( In other news, Buddhadeb and Karunanidhi have both resigned while Achitanandan has also accepted defeat openly now. So, looks like the endgame for the results as of now. Tamil Nadu - AIADMK West Bengal - Trinamool + Congress Assam - Congress Kerala - Congress led UDF Pondicherry - All India N.R Congress (AINRC) + AIADMK - AINRC was formed by an a former CM who got axed from Congress due to internal politics and started his own party and is sweeping elections now. So, results seem to be clear as of now.

Infact MP is doing well right now under Chauhan. I would say, Chauhan is better CM than Modi. Modi's task is easy with gujarat blessed with natural resources, coastline etc. MP has nothing.

I think Royal Lady f**cked it up. I think she was single reason for BJP's lose even their party workers went against her.

If you understand what I mean to say.. While pronouncing "Rha", your tongue doesn't has to touch your upper jaw..But to pronounce "Strong La" your tongue has to touch the upper jaw..
