BeautifulGame Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 must agree, IPL is full of over-rated aussie coaches, physio, shrinks, fielding coaches, and alot kangaroo nonsense like Mike Young talking about some baseball filth. The top teams (CSK, MI, RCB, KKR) this year are aussie-lite and most of them don't have kangaroos as backroom staff. Chennai has a good Aussie contingent . Our bowling coach is an AUssie ( Bichel ) and our fielding coach is an Aussie too . 2 of our 4 foreign players are Aussies ( Bolinger , Hussey ) . They are the best players in our side this season .
rkt.india Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Aussies always struggle against spin..it is nothing new...
Ramzz Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 I believe that this generation of Aussie cricketers are not as good as the previous generation, hence their national team is struggling for wins now. Last generation was the golden one...can't expect their system to keep producing such cricketers year after year :P

rajmarie Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Nope !!!!! Its for 2 yrs but if a franchisee want's can extend it by 1 yr more. :hmmm: didnt knew that. IPL is still very mysterios. I thought it was 3 years. The only change I can find openly & IMO it valid is that the players salary include the CL tournament. So if the team dont qualify the players of that teams will receive less.
