Mariyam Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Now that the group stages of the IPL are almost over, and we've seen most of the players play, lets get cracking on making our favourite teams of the IPL: Here are my best XI Gilchrist © (WK) Gayle Marsh Tendulkar Kohli Yusuf Pathan Balaji R Ashwin Rahul Sharma Malinga Munaf Patel Extras: Dhoni, Badrinath, Valthaty, Morkel (CSKwala), Bollinger I tired to maintain the 4 foreign player norm. Feel free to add any other categories like worst XI, Aussie XI, ugliest XI, overhyped XI etc

And Gilchrist and Dhoni both? At SachDan, I wasn't trolling. Between Dhoni and Gilchrist, I picked Gilly as the better captain/ hitter/ WK combine.

Well, those non-Indians are some of the best performers. :dontknow: Dhoni and Gilly are there for their batting. Who cares about keeping? Anyone can as long he isn't named Dropthiv. And regarding Captaincy, it is not even a question anymore. If Gadhadhari is in the team, he captains.

I agree Gilly sucked earlier, but I have a feeling he isn't finished yet. Sehwag would be a good choice for opener as he pretty much carried DD till his injury.
