Can somehow please list the incidents/actions by the evil BCCI which is causing all this resentment/agony. We have one vote in the ICC (yes we have influence, so does CA I am sure), we hosted the world cup jointly with 3 other countries (Pakies did get their cut), we contribute significant revenue to the other boards, loan money to others when they ask for it. All this because we started a pro league which pays too much cash and clashes with other countries' test/ODI schedule? People who talk about Harbhajan/Symonds incident as an example of BCCI clout must be delusional. We have been shafted by match referees more than any other country in terms of fines, etc. In this instance, the ruling came out in our favor.

The only ones whining are the English, the Pakiz and retired lankans. What does that tell you?

That is exactly why i felt CI is giving far too much importance it deserved. If ICC is toothless FICA 1000 times more toothless. current officers of FICA Current officers President: Barry Richards Chief Executive: Tim May Secretary: Tony Irish Treasurer: Richard Bevan Senior Vice-President: David Graveney General Committee: Paul Marsh (Australia), Heath Mills (New Zealand), Dinanath Ramnarine (West Indies), Graeme Labrooy (Sri Lanka). I think that is the total strength of FICA :cantstop:

Ishant sharma - 1 million $ each year Saurabh tiwary - 1.6 million $ each year Irfan pathan - 1.9 million $ Y Pathan - 2.1 million $ Nohit Sharma - 2.1 million $ Ricky ponting - 400,000 $ Clearly BCCI is evil in giving money to useless players

Go to its website. It mentions county cricket(English). It ignores even ausiies forget Lankans. I think its just a ploy from ECB to put pressure on BCCI and ICC. They are being successfull in that too. Look at number of bilateral series we have been playing with England and amount of cricket played in Englad. I hope BCCI and ICC soon understands the double game being played by ECB here. All BCCI needs to do is tell ECB that Sachin Sehwag Yuvi Zak MSD arent available for the next series with England due to injury. All the allready sold ticketas will appear on ebay. Ad gone. Sky will get inside the ECB's bossom and ask for compensation :finger:

ever heard of that crap that is otherwise known as IPL ? :hmmm: inB4 people start claiming it as cricket and start shouting to get on with it and what not :cheer:
T20 existed before IPL and T20s are an accepted format of cricket, whether the purists like it or not. The ICC has an official tournament for it. Countries have international teams for this format and it is a good viable alternative to the longer formats of the game which take an insane amount of time to complete. Other boards like CA and ECB and CSA have domestic tourneys for this format. IPL is just a pro league for this format and believe it or not pro leagues exist world over in all sports. Now tell me what is so different about the IPL that makes it evil. It pays a lot of money yes, that's because there is interest for it.

Yoda before get into the nitty gritty of it all ... can you answer me one thing : Is Test Match Cricket the best form of Cricket or Is it T20 ?
It is irrelevant to this discussion, but I will answer anyways. I would love to watch test match cricket between good teams on a good pitch. But if you are going to give me bad teams or patta wickets I would rather watch a T20 and get it over with.
And BTW here is another great example of BCCI's skuldugery : their stand on UDRS.
Well has that stopped the ICC from using it in the WC?

You guys don't understand how the British media and all the ancillary bodies work do you? They essentially do the hatchet job on behalf of their government or organisations like the ECB. There are two examples in recent times: 1. The UK sale oy typhoons to the saudis - look at how the media tore that issue up. 2. Qatar winning the FIFA bid (England was expected to win) - again see the impact the British media has had. It is a ploy, the British are the absolute masters of media management. Half the people don't even understand the game.
