I think it is time this talented youngster replaced Yuvraj in the ODI team. Yuvi is over the hill' date= his WC performance was his peak and I think we should start building for the future. The future is clearly Rohit who is all class and talent. Quite frankly yuvi is a faded version of the man who hit braod for six sixers. I think it is time he goes before he turns into a full time bowler like his Pakistani counterpart Afridi did. . I think u shud stop thinkin and relax a bit:popcorn::popcorn::--D

So you are one of those haters who is against progress, change and a young talent, are you? Perhaps the greatest talent since SRT is being stifled by the witless and the malevolent. What a shame that this talent was born in this country.

PMSL , where is finey ? He/she loves to have a dig at Yuvi & Bhajji any time :hysterical: Reading some of the posts makes me think whether I'm on ICF or green ghetto website !

Modestly impressed by Rohit in this tour but he needs to do this against better opposition and he should be better at it if he shows the same composure as he has shown this innings.

I am sure that the haters will still find new reasons for keeping this talent out of the team. They will continue to support the batsman turned left arm spinner over this great talent. Its all a farce I tell you, the quota is the only thing which matters.

:wall: The man is 29 years old' date=' won the MOS award in the WC, and you want him replaced?[/quote'] :hatsoff: Enough said - This guy is treating Rohit like hes friggin Garfield Sobers - you dont cut the best player out of the world cup in his next available tourny against the team he LOVES to dominate. Yuvis hate for England Bhajji for Australia Sehwag/Gambhir for Pakis Clearly the poor chap knows little about the sport.

Yes and you know an awful lot about it. That highlighted part is clearly a technical superiority demonstrator on the part of Yuvraj and should obviously be the reason to choose him above anyone else. Excellent post. Very well thought out and intelligent.

Yuvraj is past his best now man. The world cup is over and his time has come and gone. As the late great Hellen Keller said It is not possible for civilization to flow backward while there is youth in the world and whilst there is youth in the world us not taking advantage of said youth causes us to flow backward. With past their best FTBs like Yuvraj and Sehwag in the team we are simply not going the direction we want to go- forward. The time is ripe for the Rohits. They have the chutzpah. The testicular fortitude.
I agree with giving youth a chance, but not at the expense of Yuvraj. He's not even 30 yet and I think he and Sehwag still have a lot to contribute to team India. Rohit could easily take the place of Sachin when he retires. Sachin anyways plays few ODI games these days. Rohit can get his chances when Sachin is missing.

I know enough. More importantly that you do not drop the MVP of the world cup for the next available ODI. Especially when its against a team he typically plays well against. Youre all gaga over Sharma cause he has excelled against a very poor WI squad and you want to replace India's most inform ODI player :hysterical: You're not even suggesting dropping one of the other players but Yuvi of all people. Its not like hes had 10 straight bad ODIs. You gotta let the most inform player have a go against a team he does very well with. At least suggest dropping someone else to make your argument a bit more realistic :giggle: Eg a more realistic title would be "Who should Rohit Sharma replace against England"? My answer Yusaf Pathan.
