Its a shame that Raina plays test cricket for India He looks awkward when playing short pitched stuff and since India has a big queue of 'Pontings and Laras' who are experts at playing short pitched stuff, he should be no where near the Indian team So what if he scores those big runs, he doesn't look technically sound like the Pujaras nor can give classy poses like Nohit's He works really hard and is a committed cricketer, so what, it matters zilch since he failed once in Southafrica He will never make it big in test cricket , since there are different yardsticks for different people. Please save Indian cricket by dropping him immediately

Much ado about nothing. It is not like he is going to be dropped now. It all comes down to how you perform. If Raina does well he stays, if he sucks he goes. Same for Badri, Mukund, Kohli or anyone. Currently, we have only one permanent slot available in the test team given that Sehwag, Gambhir, RD, SRT, LAX and Dhoni take up 6 of the 7 batsmen spots. As of now, Raina clearly is the leading contender for that.
