Possible Pace Bowling Options for England Tour

RPS had bowled at a pretty good pace in IPL up to high 130s and especially swung the ball well. though looked a bit overweight. While Sreeshanth...ya on song he is even dangerous than Zak...he mostly sings his own song and don't bowl on song enough...even in a single spell his fortunes can turn dramatically that is the problem

That's why he should not be in contention for test cricket. He is simply not fit enough.

Funny how standards change for different bowlers. Sreesanth is an automatic first choice bowler according to you but he's not produced three spells in a row, never mind three tests for years. But for Praveen different standards seem to apply. The way England's top five are batting, sreesanth would be ripped apart with his wayward garbage. The last time Sreesanth played in the final of the WC he completely lost all common sense and effectively burnt himself out after just a couple of overs and gave away no balls, and a boundary an over. That's the kind of mental midgetry that has defined his career. No wonder none of the other Indian players were talking/celebrating with this clown afterwards. Hopefully this dancing donkey has played his last game for India and can be finally sent to the glue factory.

When PK was swinging the ball both ways in his first spell he didn't get any wickets. You could see he was a bit frustrated but he didn't lose his focus. He came in his other spells and kept sticking to that plan concentrating on altering his line to make the batsmen play more and he got his rewards in 3 quick wickets. He showed patience, talent, focus and concentration. Even though he has other variations like a slower delivery, slower bouncer, fuller deliveries he didn't get desperate. We've seen Sreesanth in the same situation when he's actually started off bowling well, but when the wickets don't come he completely loses his mind and starts bowling 4/5 different types of deliveries trying to get a wicket every ball instead of working the batsmen and setting them up and then starts losing his radar, getting abusive to the batsmen and then completely loses his rhythm and has to be taken out of the attack. That's the difference between the two players. One actually showed great temprament to apply his talent, the other has the mental capacity of a brain dead mouse.

Guys I agree with u all that Sree's animated behaviour and inconsistency is quite annoying sometimes but when he's on song then he's a brilliant bowler,a wicket taker.He's got the perfect release,great outswinger,good pace(135-145 kph) when in rhytm.He performed quite well in SA & in the helpful Eng condition he can be lethal.Zak,Ishant & Sree will certainly be in the starting xi.If I've to choose 7 bowlers(5 seamers+2 spinners) for the Eng tour I will choose Zak,Ishant,Sree,Muaf,PK,Bhaj & Mishra.Aaron & Umesh are too raw for test cricket.They may get a look in for the ODIs.Mithun is also inexperienced.A 100% fit RP may give Munna or PK a run for their money for a place.

The games are in July. Expect Flat Decks (unless England wants to go with Green tracks). English don't play leggies well, I will play Mishra over Bhajji. and my seamers wil be Zaheer, Sreesanth, Ishant, Munaf, PK, Mithun I think thats what will happen, there won't be RP Singh or Aaron
