desi pride 1234 Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Yeah right. :cantstop: i was a pace bowler in my college days and by looking at a bowler u can judge if he can moulded as a quality bowler or not. mithun can bowl quick and we have seen it in ipl and i am sure this guy can bowl long spells with pace. he is like india's mitchel johnson who can bowl long spells. It pissed me off when i saw a bowler like vinay kumar but i still believe mithun is a real deal. I hope u eat the humble pie when he plays in the 3rd test.:icflove:
desi pride 1234 Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: have u ever tried to bowl quick in ur life veggie?:--D

Cricket Tragic Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 maybe rkt will explain it to those who has no knowledge abt phaast bowling. I'm all ears to the Lillee of ICF. He should start the ICF pace bowling foundation. Anyone who can clock 85mph will be in. It doesn't matter if they bowl in the next net. :yay:

Mithun is still a bit to raw and young but he definitely has a lot of potential and could be a legitimate quality bowler for us.
King Tendulkar Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 1 Patel 2 Vijay 3 Dravid 4 Laxman 5 Kohli 6 Raina 7 Dhoni 8 Singh 9 Kumar 10 Mishra 11 Ishant Patel in for Mukund. Mukund needs to go back to FC cricket for a year. Patel is a quality bat imo and has ton potential Mithun is awful and should never be considered
rkt.india Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 I just spat my beer on the laptap after reading that. :(( Mithun had done exceptionally well in Srilanka if you remember..as good as Ishant on those dead SL pitches...he toiled hard and bowled long spells...he may not be express, but he is a trier, always try to give his 100% effort and desi pride compared him to Johnson because of his stamina and ability to bowl long spells like Johnson and still putting 100% effort which I generally do not expect from Munaf. There are not many bowlers who can bowl long spells right now. Mithun is one of those. He may lack a perfect bowling action, but he can bowl good bouncers, certainly better than Ishant and he bowls test line and length. He might not be a wold beater right now, but has the desire to work hard which shows as he is the fittest and the most athletic fast bowler in India right now which allows him to bowl long spells in FC which is a rare quality.
ravishingravi Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Yeah I know. But the way he handled the short balls on the same pitch looked promising. Did you miss last test match brah ?
kabira Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Is Gayle coming back? I heard he is ready to apologize.
Rahul Dravid Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 if Gayle comes back... the test will be more interesting !..
