Bumper Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I agree. With the fastest 100, at least 300-400% more #retirements than his peers (with more coming) and his ability to age 50% slower than his peers Afridi is clearly well ahead of his contemporaries - which is clearly a requirement for the greatest ever. To top it all, Afridi has come out of the "toothline" series in flying colors with his peerless ball biting & butt scratching skills. With his ability to connect the ball with his eyes closed, even the Bodyline series would have been a breeze for this great man.
Guest Gunner Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Ok, this is very interesting. I had never seen this innings before. He essentially scored 78 runs off Dharmasena and Jayasuriya. About 20 vs Murali and 4 Vs the medium pacer. You could almost say that he got a 100 Vs the spinners.

ravishingravi Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 SRT for me. I like his squeaky vioice better. I think we can now have another thread Srt fanatics or Afridi fanatics. Former is definitely likely to give a tough run for the money.
