The abolition of runners, using a new ball from each end in one-dayers, and restricting when the batting and bowling Powerplays can be taken are among the key recommendations the ICC Chief Executives' Committee has made after its meeting in Hong Kong. These suggestions are in addition to the one making a modified version of the Decision Review System mandatory in Tests and ODIs.

Why so many changes all of a sudden ? Anyway with the ban on runners, I'm worried about Laxman. He is always prone to injuries in the middle of an innings.:nervous:

So... who keeps the ball when one bowler is bowling, the ump? So the whole thing about maintaining the ball for reverse etc.. well now u have 2 balls to maintain. (:giggle:)

ump i guess or Dhoni can put it in his pocket but then the paki captains would keep some blades in their pockets and put the ball in there. so yeah the wise thing would be to let the ump take care of it. It's easier to maintain two balls only 25 overs old instead of one ball at 34 :finger:
