For some reason, Sree has dropped his pace a lot. Bowling at 119, 120 kph. Shouldnt you go all out if you only had 2 overs to bowl BTW calling a bowler names who has delivered each and every time asked for, shows your own class

Praveen kumar keeps throwing sh** back at his critics. They keep coming back for some reason.

The pace is very similar to Praveen kumar pace. Not sure what you are yapping about. Praveen and Sree should have opened as both are swing bowlers. Anyway Ishant got the wicket.

At least he touched that in his spell of two overs and mixed it up well with the slower ones .... PK would probably collapse trying to do that even twice in an over :P I guess, this is more abt support against Sree than PK :giggle: PS Zak is injured so will take PK as one of the 3 seamers from the options available in the squad but otherwise he shouldn't be in the whites. ODIs and T20s is a different ball game though

Well have to admit, Sree has been the best bowler in this innings for us. Unfortunately, his best has not been enough till now. But my question, what is Bhajji doing in the side? If we dont have a decent, fit spinner, sjhould we go with 4 pacers?

I think we should - there is no point playing a spinner for the sake of it. Problem is, with the over rate problems, four seamers isn't going to happen

I am not following much cricket today but seems to be another hopeless perfo by Ind unless Bell is playing an extra- ordinary inning Expected better from Sree and Ishant but only two wkts today (again Sree doing it). Don't have high expectations from either PK or Bhajji so whatever they do is a bonus Some may feel that I hate PK but that's not the case. just against the Indian mentality of playing a trundler like him in test over better test options. And then we go out of the way to justify inclusion of such trundlers and flock better options to serving drinks. PK's honeymoon with tests seems to be coming to an end .... Bhajji is another example of our inability to select proper bowlers for tests If we go on to lose this series, we would only have ourselves to blame and our support for mediocrity. It's time we start benchmarking for test Thanks

Trundler hasnt done any worse than your Sree so by how much is Sree better? I can understand your tall claims if Sreeshanth had been head and shoulders above PK but the very fact that PK can match or better his performances shows how much your claims are worth. So did Sree run through the English batting? Did he destroy the batting single-handedly and win the match? Nope, he has only two wckets to his name. As yourself you make a complete fool of yourself in front of everyone. I would myself chose Sree over PK if zaheer comes back but your calling PK mediocore despite his outstanding performances shows what a utter fool you are. You dont have the common sense to understad that we lost games because of our batting, our bowling has done decent. In Lords we were with two seamers ona seaming wicket. If our class batsmen had made even half of their average we would have been in a better position yet you blame PK's selection for our loss. I will say this again, you sir are a utter tool. One is looking like a test bowler, the other isn't. If that means something .... You play better test bowlers in tests. Tomorrow someone will argue that tendu didn't do much at lords and yuvi scored a 50 here so would yuvi been a better options at lords but that's not the point, tendu is a better test player so he starts out. Their is more to replacement then you would like to believe. It about selecting better players and this is something that many don't realize and miss the point Also Sree, if he had played at lords would have been in a slightly better shape for this game. Things like that are intangible And as I said, with zak out I would have gone with PK but now am wondering if munaf could hv been a better choice, if we are going in with 3 seamers.

There was a window where he could hv done well but he wasted it much like what he did with the first new ball at lords This is more for those who want to take some heart and pacify themselves with some hope and feel after all we can't be that wrong :P It all depends upon our batting now

I think I had lot of respect for your opinions, but here you have completely lost it. Remember we were good position until 2nd new ball was taken. It proved decisive. PK takes two in 2 overs, bring us back in the game, we had to get them in another 40-50 runs our chase would have 310, there was hope. But Sreesanth, followed by Ishant, both disappointed. PK is still trying. still beating the bat and asking questions..
