triam Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Zak' date=' Irfan, Munaf, Prasad, Nehra, all are trained at MRF what are you talking about.[/quote'] The point I was making was it didnt come up with any new stars (everyone above was already in the national team by the time they went to MRF), nor any of these bowlers increased their pace after a visit to MRF.
rkt.india Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 The point I was making was it didnt come up with any new stars (everyone above was already in the national team by the time they went to MRF)' date=' nor any of these bowlers increased their pace after a visit to MRF.[/quote'] No they were in MRF before they were selected for team India, most of them...
deepak_sach Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Varun aaron is going to be the fastest bowler for india. The barrel express.
tatters Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Getting advice from someone like Lillee can only be good for a young fast bowler.
Cricket Tragic Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 LOL why is this merged into the Lilee thread? The mods obviously don't rate Varun. :hysterical:
Trichromatic Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Lillee who ? Is he better than Zaheer ? Last time I checked, he was one of the best fast bowlers of the world. Most wickets till 64 matches and 355 wickets at an average of 23 in 70 tests. Quite impressive for a fast bowler. Wondering if there are many pacers have done better than him. Is it only me or anyone else have this horrible feeling Lillee is some sort of jinxer? Everytime he speaks good about an Indian bowler the bowler disappoints big time eventually.:(( Hope i am wrong He trains the bowler. So he would certainly point out the good qualities of the bowlers to everyone. If anything is wrong, then he has to tell that to the bowler and try to correct it. Seriously when MRF pace foundation came on and Lilee signed on as a part time coach I was very excited' date=' now after 25 yrs it has not produced one single pace bowler through its ranks.[/quote']
