Because only good seam position will not automatically land the ball at the right place. Sreeshanth neither has stamina nor consistent line and length . He bowls a lot of rubbish four balls and in between bowls some outstanding to unplayable deliveries.

Stamina and line and length ?Same thing you were saying about ishant few months back i told you when they get rhytm pace will automatically be there,I have seen sreesanth running in at same speed at end of day as begining he has got great stamina compared to zak,munaf,or any other indian fast bowler excpet ishant,He has won us more tests matches single handedly than other young bowlers.with fletcher as coach i expect sree to do well as he needs guidance from a elderly man and fletcher shouldknow how to work with fast bowlers. Go check some test match videos on youtube every match you will find he is quicker than all indian fast bowlers in last spell of the day

its not photoshopped,he has been working hard in the gym also in one interview he said he has now got 6 packs. also he gained a bit of mass for that

What he says is correct. No one can predict the ball to nip back or go away. It depends on which part of the seam it hits .

mate if you sit for 1 month then in humidity of mumbai you are thrown in world cup final what do you expect .still he was quickest of indian bowles in seccond spell too 133-140km/h

You don't interview yourself. When you're doing well, media tends to take a "bite". Also, if this batting line up is so "poor" it would make Praveen Kumar a bad bowler (than Ishant).

Batting line ups does not mean anything until you take wickets. He has taken wickets and looked really threatening. West Indies is not Zimbabwe or Bangladesh. They have some good batsman in their team. Its the team which has failed to come together. Individually, they have some good performance as good as Indians individually.

Show me where I talked about stamina of Ishant. I am sure I have never talked about it. There is no stamina problem with Ishant. He usually bowls a lot in the nets as Venky has also mentioned in an interview. And I saw Sreeshanth's stamina in WC and also in Capetown test. How he was bowling there. Ishant was not in rhythm and still was bowling faster than him. Zak might have had sustained some injury in 2nd innings if that test. Team paid for these deficiencies by not winning the series 2-1 when we could not finish their tailenders and our of form Boucher.

The guy didn’t come out and say he’s the best in the world or anything. If anything, through most of the interview, he comes across as a honest, innocent boy who gave surprisingly candid answers that you don’t normally hear from other sportspersons. If anything, if there was is one beef that I have with Ishant, it is that too candid with answers. You don’t want to go before the entire world and admit that you are short of confidence and you copied other players etc.
