BERGKAMP Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 EMBRACE THE HATEa wise cowboy fan once gave me this sane advice and it holds true for Indian cricket.we are the biggest' date=baddest thing out there in cricket and we will be hated by everybody. amen to that brother, i love the hate. to all the bitter cxnts out there - HATE us even more, this Indian juggernaut will crush you as it steamrolls it's way to even more glory. :isalute:
Deleted_User_1 Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 One thing I do agree with Mikey is that I do not understand why BCCI did not agree to use Hawkeye excluding the ball predictor. Also I did not appreciate his comment about Sunny's 236 in Madras. He basically saved the match and was a standout player in that series. Indian team was a shyte team compared to the might WI at that time. And what is this fascination with Lara, I just do not get it. True he is a great batsman, but his exagerated movement before hitting the ball always turned me off. Sachin is more complete batsman, IMO.
Sachin=GOD Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Wow...Everybody hates us.It means we are doing well :winky: Jealousy is the tribute paid by mediocrity to the genius :hatsoff:
deepak_sach Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Jealousy is the tribute paid by mediocrity to the genius :hatsoff: :two_thumbs_up:
deepak_sach Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Look forward to his ****ing commentary when India beat the hell and heaven out of his mercenary team england.
nospam Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Michael Holding on India, the DRS and leaving the ICC Cricket Committee 9uvdpv326A4 Michael Holding criticises India's stance towards the DRS and describes the circumstances behind him leaving the ICC Cricket Committee.
Cricket Tragic Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Aren't there enough threads about Holding, Harby and DRS? :banghead:
deepak_sach Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 What is he doing in england when his team is being ****ed by India. Yes We are Bad.....................
vamos_rafa Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Yes We are Bad..................... And we like it when people are jealous of us... :--D
Ramzz Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Don't think he said anything wrong. Though he did not complain before when the ECB and ACB were in charge. The comparison between Brazil's and India's influence on a sport is not even a valid one. India is the major financier of cricket. Brazil was never a major financier of soccer. Big difference.
achilles Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Michael Holding is kicking future business opportunities out of the window by cosntantly needling the BCCI. He needs to learn to be diplomatic and choose his words.
BERGKAMP Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 and he needs to realize slavery is now over, there is no constant need to lick the white mans backside at every opportunity.
jaggadaku Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 There was no need for Mark Nicholas to make that remark. Indian players are usually at the wrong end of bad decisions
deepak_sach Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Stupid MCC crowd. Keep Applauding for everything. Imagine what would have happened if he spoke that in India. Stones, tomatoes and rotten eggs would have been thrown at him.
mishra Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Observation:Each time he said anything against India crowd cheered louder. We is da most hatez one :haha: Sorry. You scratch my back I scratch, It reminds me about 17-18 years back Gavaskar was saying something similar on ICC world cup bidding process. But only on indian doordarshan. Where were you at the time Mr Holding?
King Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Sounds like imperialism is still alive and kicking. Holding of all is sucking up to England and making very loose comments to win some applause. I think he reckons he's far too valuable and living life far away from his birth place has cut him off from reality I suppose. Irrespective it sounds though as if he was speaking solely to please a few pommies and every time BCCI was criticised there were enough to encourage him. Meanwhile, India moves along winning the world cup, claiming the no.1 spot in test cricket and so forth. India should just concentrate on its cricket while the likes of Holding can continue to make hate speeches to win some applause. Mark Nicholas as usual was spurring Holding into giving the MCC members something to cheer about. Something doesn't quite sound right about Mark, he comes across as a **** stirrer.
Rajiv Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Ravi, being popular and important ( like India ) is never easy, so we will find such strong opinionated people everywhere. Take India and its finances out, wonder where the game would stand? Problem with these solo shows is that there is no rebuttal so might as well be a stand up comedy
