India is touring England. In 07 tour, we saw some great crowd in England welcoming Tendulkar whenever he used to come to bat. It was a great sight seeing how the whole crowd used to stand up and applaud as The Master used to make his way to the crease. This is a thread I am making early to discuss and share some of the clips when he is going to arrive in various different parks of England. I am already excited. I can picturize already him getting great standing ovation all over England. Series result is offcourse imporant, but I just can't wait to see this sight. It makes you want to watch those clips again.

I would say they don't show extreme reaction like Indian crowd. But they are boring most of the times. Old, half-naked guys drinking and clapping when something happens unlike Indian crowd who cheer, shout all the time with full energy. But yeah, appreciating opposition player's performance is good thing and that's what is being missed among Indian spectators.

Toilets were all clean. Can get food and drinks, though there is a mad rush for them. Though here we have massive queues when going to get anything as well

That's the issue. Motera, Ferozeshah Kotla, Mohali, Chinnaswamy are a few stadiums I have been to and they don't have proper latrine facilities. Why are we debating : Which place is better watching Test cricket? For some folks, even homes would be better than stadiums. To each one, his own.
