Trichromatic Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Dropped Bell at 30. That was most disappointing scene in an inning where wickets are hard to come. Let's see how many Bell scores now.

Rahul Dravid Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 i knew tihs thread wud be on top after one drop... hahah... awesome.
singhprakash72 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 i knew tihs thread wud be on top after one drop... hahah... awesome. I too would have laughed off ..but this is not funny. Here is an attack that is is struggling to take wickets, this just exasperates the problem. Get him out of slips and get in Sehwag or VVS or Raina, anyways we are not employing more than 2-3 slips .
Kookabura Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 i knew tihs thread wud be on top after one drop... hahah... awesome. Yeah..one in almost every test these days adds up to quite a few. Grow up fanboy
Trichromatic Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Dropped Morgan at 43 and it was a very easy catch. Frustration and reaction after that drop. :((
King Tendulkar Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Yes some good catches in last test. But no doubt he has lost it in slips, reflexes just let him down again and again. Sitter dropped in slips today. Bravo gets life.
J P K Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 he has lost his reflex but still did a good job in the last two matches we need to groom kohli not raina
putrevus Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Both Laxman and Dravid have lost some of fast reflexes you need to have for close in fielders but they are very mediocre fielders any where else and cannot be hidden on field.Their dropped catches proved very costly in England. They both will have odd good days but they will never be as good as their earlier days.Dravid's catching is major worry as he stands in slips even for spinners. We have not yet found any good FSL fielder yet like Murali Vijay or Akash Chopra, Kohli (so far ) and Gambhir don't have what it takes to be good FSL fielder. If Kohli is groomed to be a slip fielder we need to groom FSL fielder too.
Karan114 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 he has lost his reflex but still did a good job in the last two matches we need to groom kohli not raina Kohli could lose his spot in the Test side if he flops like he did in the WI Tests, as well...so we'll have uncertainty around this until one of the young batsmen seals a place. Understandably Dravid's reflexes have slowed down, even though he can occasionally pull off some fine catches like at Kolkata.
