Blue Panther Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 He was disappointing in this test match and keeps pitching the ball short like he does on bouncy trakcs, he may get away with the short length on those tracks, and thats how he got lot of wickets in australia and in west indies where the pitches offered him bounce. What abt the visulaisation and the meditation he was talking abt? disappointing bowling so far.(
deepak_sach Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 If he gets a five-fer this thread will be locked.
rkt.india Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 He was not in rhythm. Rest of 10 odd days and he could not get his run up and rhythm right again. Pace was down too today. The way he bowled some times up to 90 mph in WI, he should have bowled 140k consistently here if he was in rhythm but it wasn't to be. He will get better as he bowls more.

deepak_sach Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 star cricket speed guns have been wrong from god knows when . Does that mean praveen has been bowling at 85 mph.
deepak_sach Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Harbhajan Singh bowled a dart at 97 kph accord. to Star Cricket. Then It must be 110 atleast

gaurav92 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Dude he has done well on sub continental tracks, are these bouncy by any means ? And he struggled on bouncy SAF wickets too. So you may put it this way "He prefers bowling on bouncy tracks over the swinging greentops"

So you may put it this way "He prefers bowling on bouncy tracks over the swinging greentops" He was superb in wi and australia where he bowled with pace and got wickets. He tried to copy zaheer and bowled badly in SA.
Jayaram_IND Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Give him time even stuart broad averaged 36.25 in these conditions.
vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Guys.. we have to stop judging players in 3 or 4 overs.
Crookbond Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Guys.. we have to stop judging players in 3 or 4 overs. :two_thumbs_up:
Ultimate_Game Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 He was off line and length today. Maybe it was coz of the slope at Lord's. Most of the players playing here take time to get used to the ground and hopefully Ishant will come back and surprize us and Eng batsmen tomorrow.
CSK Fan Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Its just one session guys. Lets lay off our bowlers a bit
Trichromatic Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Isn't it funny that after one series in WI somebody said that he will overtake Steyn and after 10 overs in England we doubt his abilities?
CG Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Does that mean praveen has been bowling at 85 mph. watch for yourself- http://www.stream2watch.com/index.php?option=com_videolist&view=video&Itemid=58&videoid=19294
