Is Ishant effective only on bouncy tracks?

Isn't it funny that after one series in WI somebody said that he will overtake Steyn and after 10 overs in England we doubt his abilities?
:hysterical: yeah that was epic

According to cricinfo fastest ball by Ishant was 87.4mph and fastest by Zaheer was 88.6mph
Find it surprizing as when I noticed the speed while matching the game Zaheer was generally in early 130s.

And yeah, forgot to add that this target will be reached in freakish 12 months. :--D

It doesn't contradict what you saw. It's generally early 130s even on cricinfo, 88.6 is one fastest delivery.

Not to mention we have people having debates on these very same speed guns which are close to unreliable.
Yeah, when Kallis can bowl over 95mph delivery according to the speed gun then there is hardly any doubt about it's reliability. Though it's still gives good idea of speed at which a bowler usually bowls and speed variations used by bowlers.

Give the kid a break. First spell at Lord's, a track with not much pace in it, can happen. He will get better from here and I think he bowled superbly to KP. Was unlucky not to have his wicket.

Key to bring the best out of our players is to create a thread that is totally dissing them. works almost every time :cantstop:
The mods will merge them. Would it get the best out of the team then? :hmmm:
