Utalk Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 underrated? u must be kidding me.:haha: Yes. Dravid on merit belongs to ponting, kallis and tendulkar tier but like kallis he hardly gets a mention.
apuk79 Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 dravid has spent more time in the middle than sachin - minutes wise says a lot!
yoda Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Great knock, but I don't understand what's the big deal with a Lords hundred - just because they have a honor board and keep talking about it?
urbestfriend Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Great knock' date=' but I don't understand what's the big deal with a Lords hundred - just because they have a honor board and keep talking about it?[/quote'] History my friend...Some of the great names have been there on the board which makes Lords century special for a cricketer.
Ram Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 His celebration after the 100 was so uncharacteristic! He NEVER pumps his fist in the air like that.. Just goes on to show how much it means to some of our senior players to score in Lords.. But, what a playa! what a legend! To think that the top 2 run getters in test cricket are now Indians is FANTASTIC! The irony is, following some of the English commentators and journalists before this series, you got the impression that they felt that Rahul Dravid was pretty much a spent force and that he could be the weak-link in our batting line-up. They must have seen him bat from 2006 to 2008 and must have stopped watching after that. His batting has gotten better and better in the last few series. He is still India's best player to counter the swinging ball.
Captain of Bhangra Posted July 23, 2011 Author Posted July 23, 2011 History my friend...Some of the great names have been there on the board which makes Lords century special for a cricketer. RP Singh and Agarkar are on there, as is Tamim Iqbal of Bangladesh...
