India due to being a signatory of the WTO cant stop trading with PAkistan.It will be dragged to the WTO.

Major digression, so a few quick points. Being a signatory of the WTO doesn't mean that India is under some legal obligation to trade with Pakistan. We an stop trade with Pak. It only means that 1)The trade with Pakistan can be carried out such that local industries in India or Pakistan aren't adversely affected. 2) The trade balance in the category that is traded is not disturbed across countries that are involved in trading that particular category of goods. Don't know how they word it exactly, but its on these lines.

But India is under no legal obligation play cricket with Pakistan.You may well be aware that though India has given Pakistan MFN status they havent done so.Also the idiocy of the likes of Ijaz Butt is well known.Also who wanst people like Sohail Tanvir in IPL,come here play take money and then abuse us?Sorry we are better off without them.This is my view YAM you of course have yours.

For eg if India is selling sugar to Pak and to curtail the imports, if Pak govt gives subsidies for sugar farmers in Pakistan, many associated industries ( eg soft drink who use sugar) in Pak will be affected. So, such a subsidy though may be in the interest of India (short run) & Pakistan (long run), it may affect those nations who sell export based products to Pak. Coz Pak may start making those sugar by products herself now, that sugar is cheap. So it could affect sugar syrup exports to Pak for eg.

Long story short. Its not binding at all. Doesn't tell us who we should trade with, just says how we carry out trade with the nations whom we do.

If I was the IPL organizers, I wouldn't invite them back before they both apologized and admitted they were wrong. Even if they do apologize, it is still up to the IPL whether to invite them back or not.

Lol I love how you keep saying "you" like I work for the PCB. I'm not any side's fanboy. Just looking at the situation. When I first heard the idea for the Champions trophy, I thought it was a great ideas as you would get to see uncapped players perform and the best domestic team from each country play each other. But what it is now is countries being excluded and possibly 4 out of 10 teams being IPL teams lol. Now, it's the BCCI/CA/CSA venture so they're free to do whatever they won't. I'm just stating that as a cricket fan, you'd be hard pressed to argue how not having a Pakistani team in the Champions League makes it a better tournament.
