cameron_black Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 champions of bangladeshi league should also be included in this edition. possibly from the dhaka premier division cricket league...
Gotham Cronie Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Its World T20, not World Cup. India has won Champions League 2010, and we are favourites for 2011 too. CSK will outperform every team including Hampshire which includes your afretard. Murali Vijay is leading run scorer in this tournament. :finger: With 4 out of the 10 teams possible being IPL teams, it's a big claim to say India are favorites LOL.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 With 4 out of the 10 teams possible being IPL teams' date=' it's a big claim to say India are favorites LOL.[/quote'] But Pakistan still wont get to play....

glogirl Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Players choose IPL franchises for Champions League The IPL franchises have emerged as clear winners when it comes to players deciding between playing for them or their home sides in the upcoming Champions League Twenty20. Eight players were originally nominated for two squads and were given 48 hours to decide which team they would play for before the final squads were announced today. http://www.espncricinfo.com/champions-league-twenty20-2011/content/current/story/528998.html
Sidhoni Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 That was bound to happen given the money involved with IPL franchises.

Hell Raiser Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Shami Ahmed in KKR squad. would be interesting to see if does have pace or turns out to be another trundler.
julianlev Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 this, in a nutshell, is my biggest problem with the IPL teams in the CL Other teams have maybe one foreign player at most, while IPL teams have four even worse, these players are taken from playing for their own teams to playing for IPL ones so not only do the IPL teams have access to up to four quality international players, but it comes at the expense of the other teams
yoda Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 ^^ Well, first of all not all not all 4 international players are eligible for other teams in the CL. Regarding players who are eligible to play for both teams (IPL and non), one of the teams is going to lose a player, but gain monetarily as compensation. Seems fair to me.
WC2011INDIA Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 So Gambhir will play for KKR? Seriously, the ****er is injured and all. Does he want to aggravate his injury? :finger:
Karan114 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 So Gambhir will play for KKR? Seriously, the ****er is injured and all. Does he want to aggravate his injury? :finger: Of course this little ****er will play through it, just like he played the IPL with an injury and ended up missing India games. And then he will give interviews saying how dare you question my commitment to the country blah blah.
