Trichromatic Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 What's the logic behind this? Hot-spot should certainly be allowed to used for reviewing LBW decisions in case of inside edges. Please do not use this for another Hawk-eye support thread. It questions rules under current review system.
urbestfriend Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Un-feckin-believable...SH!tty rules thanks to ICC and BCCI..
Trichromatic Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 Current review system is a joke. You have hotspot in place. You feel that it's good enough to be used. But you want to use it only for the catch out cases. For LBWs no matter whether you hit with middle of the bat or edge of the bat, you can't review it.
vipin Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Its not the 'Current Review System' that is in affect. Its just a conveniently customized version of it, made to persuade the BCCI into accepting the DRS. I can't see how excluding LBWs is being helpful.
urbestfriend Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Harsha is asking same question..Why can't we use normal camera's for eliminating howlers in LBW...Yes, BCCI opposed ball-tracking but ICC made it very confusing by not allowing referrals to LBWs.
urbestfriend Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 To eliminate inside-edges you dont need hotspot too...Normal cameras are good enough..
Blue Panther Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 It will be applicable after this. Lahori logic at its best.
asterix Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 And we have that great player Sachin, who, in his zeal to make more records, have ensured that UDRS cannot be used. Abe tho saale score some runs naa. You ensured that incomplete DRS is there and then getting out choking.. WTF? Na kaam ka na kaaj ka, dushman anaaz ka..
urbestfriend Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 ~ Stop blaming Sachin for everything dude..he has expressed his support for UDRS officially , but thanks to BCCI, we have a sh!tty version of DRS..
urbestfriend Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 We dont need Ball tracking, all we need is a rule where DRS can be asked for anything by batsmen if it is a howler..
CSK Fan Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Ask Sachin' date=' BCCI listens only to him.[/quote'] Sachin has officialy confirmed his support for H/E, have you been living under a rock?
cameron_black Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 dear BCCI, your bad deeds are coming back to haunt you! :haha:
Trichromatic Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 do you really think the BCCI babus know about *ANYTHING* that happens on the field ? He thinks that Nirajan Shah's wife advised him to oppose any kind of review of LBW. :giggle:
asterix Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Sachin has officialy confirmed his support for H/E' date=' have you been living under a rock?[/quote'] No. He has said time and again, that he doesn't agrees with the "predictive element" of H/E.. EVen in his recent interviews.. What is his problem? He ahs only few years at the most to play.. Why he is screwing it up for young Indian players? M$D is another one who is on record, against the predictive element. Are feking first try to stay in the crease and bat for sometime and try to do well for India, then think of predictive elements etc. Dickhead..
