Sachinism Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 **** ICC for congratulating India and England on upholding the spirit of the game. It was ALL INDIA Who the **** do Flower and Strauss think they are for going into the Indian dressing room and asking Dhoni if he wanted to change his decision? Dhoni is a pu$$y for changing the appeal. I would've told him to drop on his knees and munch on my knob and then maybe I'll consider it
Alchemist Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Time for BCCI to step in and India to win all the remaining games . :giggle:

darkknight Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 As former Australia captain Allan Border might have said, nice guys tend to come last.
FreakazoiD Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 After Strauss recalled Angelo Matthews, this is what Andy Flower had to say: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/cricket/article-1216407/England-coach-Andy-Flower-tells-Andrew-Strauss-Get-ruthless--dont-batsmen-whove-given-again.html ‘I’m absolutely serious,’ said Flower on the eve of today’s tie against world No1 South Africa at Centurion with a semi-final place up for grabs. ‘I would not have recalled Mathews.’ ‘Strauss is a good man and I trust him completely,’ said Flower. ‘He made the decision and I back him. I just wouldn’t have done it. I would have sent the batsman on his way. He ran into the bowler. Simple deal.’ And to think Flower had the gall to go and request the Indian team management to "reconsider" their decision :hitler: In short, no way MSD should have called Bell back. I think this Indian test team lacks the killer instinct the younger crop (and WC winning team) has. No disrespect to the likes of Dravid and Laxman, but being called a "gentleman" isn't really an accolade a sportsman should be proud of. Had Bell been given out then, the momentum would have been with India. England were obviously feeling low after that unfortunate event, and a quick burst from our bowlers after tea might have left them reeling and possibly bowled out for 300.
Texan Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I don't mind that they withdrew the appeal' date=' but this is what is bugging me, there is no way in the world these english tossers would have done the same if it was Tendulkar on 138 and Dhoni and Fletcher had gone into their dressing room to ask them to do the same.[/quote'] Exactly. Nobody has ever done India any favors. Shoaib Akhtar once clearly pushed Sachin out of the crease and a direct hit got him out. Wasim Akram, who was the captain then did not care to recall Sachin. Eventually, India lost a match that they should have won. If there was anything called the "spirit of cricket", then Laxman also should have got recalled when he was stumped off C'paul in WI. These English morons know very well how to play mind games. Strauss and Flower had no business going into the Indian team's dressing room. On the other hand, Vaughan (former captain and now part of the grand plan playing mind games) accuses Laxman of unfair play to trick HotSpot! Such hypocrites!! NEVER TRUST THESE ENGLISHMEN! NEVER NEVER NEVER!
Utalk Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 India should have just shown this to Ian Bell in the tea break
Cricketics Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 LOL. I will settle with the great standing ovation given to DHONI. It made my day. Hope you will post it's link too :)

Cricketics Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 You mean the one started with chorus of booing? When the WORLD CUP 2011 winning captain came out from tea, crowd was left with nothing but applauds for the WORLD CUP Winning team captain.
Utalk Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 When the WORLD CUP 2011 winning captain came out from tea' date=' crowd was left with nothing but applauds for the WORLD CUP Winning team captain.[/quote'] And who were they booing seconds before the applaud?
